Dermal fillers can cause some redness, bruising, and swelling.
These are usually mild and will resolve in 2-5 days.
To minimize side effects, please avoid any medications that can prolong bleeding such as Aspirin, non-steroidal anti-inflammatories (NSAIDS), and alcohol for at least 2 days prior to your appointment.
There are a few limitations to the use of dermal fillers.
Safety has not been established in pregnancy and breastfeeding and therefore treatment is not recommended.
Dermal fillers should be used with caution in individuals known to form keloid scars.
